Schedule

                  The schedule for this project consisted of three major parts. The fall quarter is for analysis and design, Winter for construction, and Spring for testing and competing in the RC Baja Competition. The Fall quarter consisted of several analyses for all major components. While also having to have all fully applied engineering merit components designed by the end of the quarter.

                 All parts begin their manufacturing, purchasing, and assembling process at the beginning of the Winter quarter. A list of the designs to be constructed is stated below with their estimated times and schedule.  Some extra time will be needed for troubleshooting, material locating, and tooling issues. By the end of the quarter, a fully assembled RC car should be ready for competition and testing.

Budget

                The budget will include parts, materials, labor, and outsourcing. Parts will be primarily bought from Amazon or the local RC shop. Smaller components like nuts and screws will be purchased at the Knudson Lumber yard and ACE hardware. Stock materials will be purchased at Rach and Home with some possible donations from CWU. Sticking with mostly 1060 and 6061 Aluminum for easy machining and lower cost to keep the RC car under budget. Some more complicated materials or designs to manufacture will be purchased and ordered through Send-Cut-Send. The tables shown are the estimated budget and parts list showing specified purchase location, identification, description, and costs.
